Dhaka Urban Women Prayer Conference 2007

Number of women attended at the Conference: 90

In Bangladesh it is culturally developed that women hold the household matters and at the same time the spiritual part of the family. Children’s growing up depend on how they are looked after by their mother. Focusing on mother’s vital role in the family and in the society, women from different churches of the capital city attended the conference.

The conference was particularly for empowering and encouraging Christian women those are actively involved in the denominations and in the churches. The long prayer session was the key part of the conference. It was like refueling themselves, making more understanding with God, strengthening deeper relationship with God. In short teaching speakers emphasized on continuous biblical teaching for children.

It was a blessed time for all the participants from various denominations in the city.

Ms. Judith Milita Das, the chairperson of the Board of Women and Home Movement was the moderator of the Conference and the Honorary General Secretary of the Fellowship (NCFB) Rev. Sukamal Biswas greeted was present there.
