NCFB Youth Leaders Summit 2008
National Christian Fellowship of Bangladesh
 "Here am I. Send me!" (Is 6:8-NIV) that was how all the youth leaders from all affiliated denominations and para church organizations expressed their commitment to God after the great calling from Rev. Sukamal Biswas, the honorary General Secretary of the National Christian Fellowship of Bangladesh. Rev. Biswas led the devotion of the Summit on the 8th August. Dr . Dennis Dilip Datta, the president of the NCFB explained the natures and responsibilities of true believers in Bangladesh. He described the “Salt” and the “Light” in a practical way of life. He emphasized on more reflection and living every day Christ-reflective life.
More than 65 selected central youth leaders from our 19 Member Denominations and 15 Associate Members bonded together at the Summit 2008 o n August 6-8, 2008 at the BBCF Convention Center. The Summit had been named “Arise Bangladesh” to take the challenge of future leadership and evangelism of this land. The Summit includes 4 workshops on contemporary themes. The teachings and discussions of each workshop were very interactive. Four workshops from different dimensions were arranged to equip these future Christian leaders.
- Youth Mission and Vision (Speaker-Rev. Silo Smidth)
- Practical Youth Ministry (Speaker – Mr. Phanuel Pandey)
- M. Evangelism (Speaker – Rev. Edward Ayub)

- Prevention of Drug Addiction (Speaker – Md. Aminul Islam-BYFC)
Each day was ended up with Spiritual Revival Meeting in the evening. Rev. Asa M Kain, Rev. Duane Danielsen and Mr. Phanuel Pandey spoke at Revival Meetings. Rev. Asa M Kain, the Chairman of Bangladesh Assemblies of God officially opened the Summit on the 6th of August. At the revival meeting of the opening day Rev. Kain s poke on the spiritual era of the leadership while he painted the literal picture of the youth spirit and vision for moving forward (Lk 9:62). Rev. Duane Danielsen at the second evening inspired these key young people to follow the Words of God truly (James 1:22-26). The last evening was exceptional to these young leaders. It was the time to say “Yes” to God. Responding to the calling. Renewal of souls and committing to God. Mr. Phanuel Pandey, the Chairperson of the NCFB Youth Board spoke on the Great Commission, explained our destiny.

“The land was fertile” and “Seeds were good”, they need nurture, spiritual nurture, let us uplift them at our prayer for a sound spiritual growth
for our future.
